yeah mongoose made a frame very much like this one way back in the day, like 1998, it was the NX 9.7 if I recall.

take your bike out of freeride, and take it home, I am sure someone around has a spring for you, it doesn't have to match exactly the same as on it now length wise, you need a 500 spring for sure but it can be a little shorter, due to the fact that you can preload the spring, can be a little longer as well, can be tweaked a bit on the length. Andrew at cycotic may be able to do a coil swap with you. Actually I have a 450lbs spring by 2.80 on my fifth element shock, I'll swap springs with you, and it is a fox sping.

its very controllable for the size of it, it could be better. I saw where you guys were working on the berm, i would of done some work but no shovel or tools.
